Here at Soo North Fly Shop we pride ourselves on the quality of our guide services. We offer a diversified range of fly fishing options throughout the year. From Spey fishing on the St. Mary's Rapids to small stream fly fishing for Brook Trout, we can help you make the most of your time in Northern Ontario. This region is blessed with incredible fly fishing for species such as: Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon, Pink Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Brook Trout (Specks), Resident Rainbow Trout, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass - all on the Fly!

We can also help you book a hotel in Sault Ste Marie. Accommodations here are very reasonable in price and easy to access.

Guiding in Algoma Region

We offer different guided services for the surrounding area here in Algoma. Some are 1/2 day trips which are on the St Mary's Rapids as well we offer a full day package. We have a 2-3 day outfitting trip where we will be fishing several different waters and camping overnight. This package is offered in late May and thus is dependent on the weather conditions. We plan a maximum of three of these trips each spring for Brook Trout.
We also have a back drifting Atlantic Salmon guided trip casting large streamers for aggressive and hard-hitting salmon. These trips book up quickly so call today to lock in your spot before they are all gone!

Most guided trips are limited to 1 or 2 persons but we can accommodate small groups as we have additional full-qualified guides. Soo North also guides on several smaller rivers and lakes for wonderful one day adventures. These one-day adventures are for big Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike.
